During my 20 year career as a teacher and senior leader in primary schools across South London, it has been my pleasure to support people to achieve their goals, have a shoulder to cry on or identify ways to improve their day to day living.
I have been able to help parents and colleagues to achieve their goals, be they personal or career oriented. Inclusion is my passion, and I believe that all people, children and adults, are individuals who deserve their best outcomes in life.
As a parent to 2 delightful boys, I have personally navigated divorce, running a household and working full time as a single parent, not to mention finding my joy in the small moments through mindfulness and connection with others.
Not diagnosed with ADHD until my 40's, I have first hand experience of navigating life as a neurodivergent. Knowledge and reframing of how our brains cope with a busy 20th century life is possible, and family life can be calm and enjoyable, no matter what challenges are involved.
I have used my personal experiences to support many parents to live their best life, through a coaching model promoting autonomy over their own. I am a strong believer that people know what is best for them, and just need a blend of guidance through careful and empathetic questioning and mentoring using life experience. There is no one right way to lead your life, but we can all benefit from shared experience and help to stay focused on our goals.
